Letter from Joe Jones, past President of Cornstalk Heights Historical Community Organization 

As President of the Cornstalk Heights Organization, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking our tour of Historic Harriman.  I have been involved with the organization from it’s beginning back in the early 1990’s.  The money we make from our tour goes back into our historic community and our city of Harriman.  We sponsor or contribute to projects like lighting in Killifer Park on Cumberland St., picnic tables, street signs, repairs to brick sidewalks, and many other programs. But, it takes all of us to make our city a better place to live.  As such, we are always looking for people to help. Out home tours for us, are a lot of work and a lot of fun as well!  It takes a great group of people to make it all happen, and I have one of the best this organization has ever had!  Thanks to all of our volunteers.
